A message from The Adjutant General of Kentucky:

The magnificent response of the Kentucky Army and Air National Guard in support of our world, our nation and our Commonwealth clearly demonstrates our need to maintain a strong National Guard. I applaud the commitment of the National Guard Association of Kentucky (NGAKy) and the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of Kentucky (EANGKy) to making this resource available to educate you about their programs and initiatives.

There is always intense competition for financial and defense resources, especially so in this period of military downsizing. History teaches that the Guard will be neglected without an effective voice in Washington and Frankfort. Your active participation in organizations like the NGAKy, the EANGKy and the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) is essential to maintaining our ability to meet mission requirements and the quality of life of our soldiers and airmen.
